Baloch, Pashtun and Kashmiri Communities Hold Joint Rally in London
Members of the Baloch, Pashtun and Kashmiri communities held a joint demonstration in London, calling attention to what they described as human rights violations, political repression and the denial of self-determination in their respective regions.
During the rally, participants carried flags and banners while urging the international community to take notice of their concerns. Speakers accused the Pakistani state of policies they described as occupation, enforced disappearances, ethnic repression and restrictions on political freedoms.
The demonstration emphasized solidarity among the three communities and called on international institutions and governments to engage with what organizers described as the legitimate political aspirations of the people of Balochistan, Pashtunistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PoJK).
Organizers also urged the international community to support dialogue, justice and the right of people to determine their political future through peaceful and internationally recognized principles.
Pakistani authorities have consistently rejected such allegations, maintaining that Balochistan and other regions are integral parts of Pakistan and that security operations are conducted to counter militancy and maintain law and order.
The rally concluded peacefully in central London.
