QUETTA: Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Chairman Nasrullah Baloch has announced that a peaceful protest will be held outside the Quetta Press Club at 4pm on Sunday, August 30, to mark the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances

In a statement, Nasrullah Baloch said the protest would highlight the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, particularly the enforced disappearance of Baloch women.

He said the demonstration would also call for an end to extrajudicial killings of forcibly disappeared persons and demand the safe recovery of all missing persons.

He appealed to political parties, student organisations, human rights activists, civil society representatives and people from all walks of life to participate in the peaceful demonstration.

He urged people to raise their voices for an end to enforced disappearances, the safe recovery of missing persons and solidarity with the families affected by the disappearances.
